25.01.06 | Fires and road closure force event to be postponed

An unfortunate piece of news today after hearing that the access roads to and the actual Baw Baw resort itself will be CLOSED this weekend due to bush fires.

We have been instructed by the Country Fire Authority NOT to attempt to access the resort over the weekend. Even if the fire is under control, a sudden change in wind will leave us trapped in the heart of the mountain with no exit roads and put lives at risk.

Simply put - BAW BAW EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO FIRE. New date TBA.
