2. Nescafe' Big Break News
As many of you may already know, MUNRO Boards have been competing in the Nescafe' Big Break. On Wednesday the 19th of July we received some fantastic news that we had made it into the finals of the contest. MUNRO owner Adam Zemunic submitted his concept of mountain boarding and was placed in the top 14 entrats from Australia and New Zealand. Adam pitched in Sydney last week against some very talented competition and unfortunately was just short of the top 6 despite some difficult discussions between the judges. He walkked away with some prize money, an awesome experience and the support from all involved that MUNRO Mountain Boards has great potential. "I'm giving this business all I've got. We have survived without prize money and we will continue to make personal sacrifices to see this awesome sport take off in Australia and beyond" says Adam. "I'd like to wish the top 6 all the very best and encourage anyone with a dream to enter the comp next year. What ahve you got to loose?" - Adam Zemunic

The riding was intense with several double backflip attempts from Japanese action man Yuya Nakayama. It should be noted that several big name riders from the States were missing from the competition, however a well deserved victory to Downie.
